Rachel catches the same commuter train every morning. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. She’s even started to feel like she knows the people who live in one of the houses. She named them as “Jess and Jason”.

Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. If only Rachel could be that happy. And then she sees something shocking. Now everything’s changed. Rachel has a chance to become a part of the lives she’s only watched from afar. Now they’ll see; she’s much more than just the girl on the train.

Review

If you are looking for something thriller, then this book is for you. This psychological thriller is written in multiple POVs. The author did a great job in presenting the POVs. Minus one only for frequent change in the time frames, but once attentive towards the headings of the chapters,it was little easy.

The characters are interesting but not all characters are likeable. Rachel is the main protagonist and seems on the train mostly throughout the story. This book can be a mixture of realities, obsession, complicated relations, and affection.

So,if you are looking for a psychological thriller and gripping suspense, just grab this book. This will keep you on the edge. Writing and language is good and has a good flow. I even saw the movie adaptations and it was quite interesting.
